New Years

So today is New Years Eve and I guess we are all getting ready for 2010. I myself am having a more quiet than usual celebration. I have been so busy these last six months that I decided to stay home in Canberra for a quiet one. I could have been in Perth camping with some of the Geeks which would have been awesome, but I wanted to spend the Christmas shutdown period doing nothing at home (as lame as that sounds).

I am really excited about January though!! First up I have a secret event on Jan 15. If I told you what it was, I would have to kill you. Then I am down in Melbourne for Jan 20-24 for the Aus Open tennis. I love tennis and I have never been before so I am super excited. I am also going to catch up with Corin for our own tennis match. We played a few times in the mansion and the last one was a 5 set epic which, from memory, I won 6-2 6-4 4-6 3-6 6-4. I also plan on hitting the town with Corin, Nathan and Jenna if they are interested.

Finally, and the most exciting of all is the Gold Coast trip from Jan 28 to Feb 1. All 8 Geeks and at least 4 Beauties will be living in Nathan's guest house all together again. We are going to hit the town in our anatomy suits and also go to Dream World! This will be the biggest gathering so far since the finale, so everyone is very excited.

So if anyone is interested in coming up and saying hi, then you know where we all will be next month :) Hope you all enjoy the last 8 hours of 2009

Welcome!

Let me start of by welcoming you to Aussie Geeks!

I decided to set up this blog mainly because I thought it would be fun. But I also thought it would a great way to stay in touch with 7 of the best guys in the world.

So who am I? Well my name is Jeremy Reading and you may or may not know me from the show Beauty and the Geek Australia. So that is where the title of the blog comes from. I am hoping (fingers crossed) that the other 7 awesome Geeks will also be contributing to the blog.

So what is this blog going to be about? With a name like Aussie Geeks, it will contain updates on what the Geeks have all been up to after the show and anything and everything 'Geeky' that comes to mind. We have all been emailing each other web links about cool movies, techno gadgets and stuff, so we will be sharing these as well. Plus all of the other random stuff that we love. So if anyone is interested, then stay tuned....
